Battle for Brandt

Published by Alicia Weiler at 9:43 am under Colortech Inc.

Brandt Pflueger is a 4 year old boy that has a cancer called neuroblastoma that affects his adrenal gland.  On Tuesday, August 12th, there will be a fund raiser sponsored by the Speedwell Fire Company in conjunction with the North Lebanon Police Department in front of the Lebanon Valley Mall from 10 am -7 pm.  There will be a Kauffman’s Chicken BBQ, bake sale, boot drive, and a hair shave off that day.

Their goal is to raise $50,000 to help with the expenses of his treatment, services, and items for Brandt.

Kathy Schools is taking orders for the Kauffman’s Chicken BBQ tickets. They are $6.00 a ticket and all proceeds go to Brandt Pflueger.  Monetary donations and volunteering for this event and a possible carnival in August are also welcomed.  If anyone is interested, call Kathy for tickets and additional information.

Brandt is my daughter-in-law Loris great nephew. When my son Alan told me about it my mother and I cried and he is in our prayers all the time. I helped out at a yard sale for him and $500.00 was raised, we got a lot of well wishers for Brandt. One woman told us that her grandson had the same thing when he was two and he is now 22. So we have a great chance with Brandt. I talked to him on the 5th of July and he was a joy to talk to. He sounded like there wasn’t a thing wrong with him, I asked him how he felt and he said good and didn’t have to get his shot. He was happy about that, he sid goodbye and handed the phone back to his Aunt Lori. Lori said that he was playing and laughing and having a good time. Thank God for small miracles. He is always in my thoughts and my prayers. Melissa he is in good hands with the Lord. God Bless You All.
