United Way Kick Off!
The United Way had their kick-off breakfast on September 4, 2008 which was held at the Lantern Lodge. They discussed the past goals and whether those goals were met or not. This year the goal for United Way is $2,050,000.00. The goal for Colortech, Inc. is $4,750.00 for this year. Last year it was $4,500.00. This goal was hit. If we can increase our goal to $4,950.00, Jean and Frank Dixon will match the 10% increase that is given to the United Way.
The breakfast was very good. They had a couple of speakers telling us how they “Live United” which is the slogan for the United Way this year. It was very interesting. The United Way also had a band that played original music. The band was called Letters of Love. They were 2008 graduates of Lebanon High School. The music they played was very appropriate.
