Colortech started a Safety Committee at the beginning of this year. We should be certified by the Department of Labor and Industry by September 2008. The purpose of this committee is to bring workers and managers together to acheive and maintain a safe, healthful workplace.Currently we have four members and we hold monthly meetings. As of now, we have no loss time accidents since January 2008. We hope this endeavor will help us to maintain and improve our safety policies and procedures and help keep our employees and visiting customers safe!

This year Earth Day is Tuesday, April 22nd. This event is celebrated around the world and was started in 1970. This has become an annual event for many people to celebrate the earth and helps make people aware of issues and shows commitment to building a healthier, cleaner, and safer world for everyone.

Colortech hosted a tour of the facility for Boy Scout of America.  Duane Crouse, the Development Director, and eleven tiger scouts with their guardian attended this tour of the facility.  The scouts received a goody back and a printed picture of themselves, which was taken at the beginning of the tour.
